The aim of Eco-Hamlets UK is to create a variety of small
sustainable neighbourhoods all over Britain. Some Eco-Hamlets
will be very high-tech and modern, some will appear quaint
and traditional, some will be very simple and low-tech, and
some will incorporate elements of all these. There is no one
size fits all solution. The aim is to create settlements that
are suitable for a changing world, and for a wide variety
of people.
This page lists some of the Projects that our members are
involved in, and some of the Groups our members have formed
to look for suitable sites. Most Projects are not exclusively
"owned" by Eco-Hamlets UK, but we have some involvement
in them. | West Wales Eco-Hamlet Project (Project) |  | New project near Newcastle Emlyn in West Wales needs people and ideas. Due to an unexpected problem, it may not be possible to achieve the original plan, so alternative ideas are needed. There is potential for "conventional" eco-housing and low-impact development. People are needed to help to develop and carry out a viable plan, and create some great homes.
We are organising regular work parties if you would like to come and help, and maybe have a holiday while you're here too.
